Samhi Hotels, which made its debut on Dalal Street in September this year, operates a portfolio of prominent international brands, including Marriott, Hyatt and IHG. A strong operational performance, healthy revenue growth, and debt reduction is likely to see the company turning PAT positive in FY25 , says Kruttika Mishra, research analyst - hospitality at Sharekhan by BNP Paribas.

Sharekhan by BNP Paribas holds a positive view of the company and expects a 24% upside in the stock over the next 12 months. It has a price target of Rs 222 for the stock.

But a sense of fatigue among Dalal Street bulls was felt on Wednesday after Nifty50 dropped almost 100 points from its lifetime high-level intraday.

Stocks that were in focus include names like Angel One, which rose 6.67%, Sobha, which fell 1.2%, and Tata Chemicals, whose shares increased 3% on Wednesday.

FPIs demonstrated renewed interest in India’s IT sector, with an investment of Rs 1,991 crore in IT stocks in the second half of November. This shift in sentiment comes after they sold IT stocks worth Rs 13,063 crore between January and October. In 2022, they sold IT shares worth Rs 71,357 crore.

The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 758 on 8th September 2023 but failed to hold on to the momentum and has corrected by over 40% from its record high of above Rs 1200 in October 2021. Providing more evidence of labor market weakness following the drop in job openings on Tuesday, the ADP National Employment report showed private payrolls increased by 103,000 jobs in November, below economists' expectation of 130,000.

US benchmark West Texas Intermediate slipped as much as 4% to break below $70 a barrel and reach the lowest intraday price since June 29.
