The exchange also shifted the expiry day for monthly, weekly, and long-dated futures and options contracts to Friday from Thursday. If the expiry day falls on a trading holiday, the expiry day will be the previous trading day.

The deadline for linkage of PAN-Aadhar is March 31. According to a Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) circular, the PAN allotted to a person would become inoperative if it is not linked with Aadhaar by March 2023 and would be liable to all the consequences 1961, for not furnishing, intimating or quoting the PAN.

One97 Communications which owns a 49% stake in Paytm Payments Bank (PPBL) said in a stock exchange filing on Monday that the payments bank will have a beneficial impact in the form of meaningfully lower interchange fees paid to PPBL for Paytm wallet since this is now based on the lower standardized interchange.

The Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has fixed the interest rate at 8.15% for financial year 2022-23 as per the sources quoted by news agency PTI. If this interest rate is finalised by the Central Board of Trustees (CBT), then there is hike in interest rate by 0.05%. The EPFO board is meeting for two days to decide the interest rate on EPF account.

The selloff in Adani stocks resumed after a report published by The Ken raised questions on whether the Ahmedabad-based conglomerate has actually repaid debt totaling $2.15 billion. "Despite the Adani Group's claim of “complete” repayment of $2.15 billion in share-backed debt, regulatory filings show that banks have not released a significant portion of the promoters' shares held as collateral, indicating that the debt has not been fully paid off," the report said.
