Equity benchmark indices ended Thursday’s session in the red after weak economic data in the US stoked global recession worries. At the close, Nifty ended 0.32% lower at 18,108, while Sensex shed 0.31% to settle at 60,858. Barring Nifty IT and Nifty PSU Bank all other sectoral indices closed in the red.“The overall structure shows that this is only a pause and is expected to be followed by the next leg on the upside. From a short-term perspective, any dip towards 18,050-18,000 can be taken as a fresh buying opportunity. Over the next few sessions, Nifty is expected to surpass the key hurdle zone of 18,260-18,300 and head towards 18,500,” Gaurav Ratnaparkhi, Head of Technical Research, Sharekhan by BNP Paribas, said.Here are stock recommendations for Friday:
