Amid mixed global cues, Indian indices reported sharp gains in Friday’s session to close the day and the week on a positive note. What North Block top officials today clarified is that privatisation is very much on track. Disinvestment is an ongoing scheme, it is not something new, Tuhin Kanta Pandey, secretary of the department of investment and public asset management, said during post-budget stakeholder interaction by the finance minister.
