In July 2023, mutual funds (MFs) directed their attention towards Indian equities, as evidenced by their net buying of approximately Rs 7,707 crore. With the sole exception of April, MFs consistently maintained their trend of net purchases throughout the calendar year. In the latest analysis carried out by ETMarkets concerning MFs, it was pointed out that eight stocks were added to the holdings of a minimum of 20 MFs in July 2023, in contrast to June 2023. Among these, five out of eight stocks exhibited a double-digit price increase in 2023 so far, while two stocks performed negatively, and one stock displayed a mere 3% growth during the same period.
